      TITANIC 3D TRAILER
The re-release of James Cameron's Oscar-winning film Titanic, starring Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio has debuted on the film's official Facebook page.

In 1997 Titanic was the most successful film of all time, earning $1.8 billion worldwide, until director Cameron'srecent blockbuster Avatar hit screens with its earnings of $2.7 billion. The film hopes to please fans as well as reach a new younger audience.
The atmospheric footage, with Celine Dion's hit My Heart Will Go On in the background, shows excerpts of the arrivals aboard the ship, meetings between Jack and Rose, including her posing for the young artist, and the historic sinking of the ocean liner on its maiden voyage.

The trailer for the romantic classic gets updated with title cards, such as "from the visionary director of Avatar." Since Cameron is an advocate for 3D and a pioneer of the technology, the $18 million conversion is expected to be worthwhile.

Next year is the 100th anniversary year of the ship setting sail. The film also marks the 100th anniversary of the film studio, Paramount Pictures.
