John Abraham Ready For Marriage

Amid rumours of his link-up with investment banker Priya Marwah, Bollywood actor John Abraham has said that he is finally ready to tie the knot. 'Its my wish to get married soon. I would love to settle down in life. It is human nature. There was a time when I did not want to get settled down but today I want to. It is a normal... natural thing,' John told PTI. John's love life has been constantly in news post his break-up with Bipasha Basu. The end of his eight-year relation with the actress recently, led to several speculations with both of them getting linked with their co-stars. While Bipasha was said to be seeing Shahid Kapoor, Josh Harnett and Rana Duggabati, John has been linked to Genelia D'souza and Deepika Padukone.

B-town is also abuzz about John dating Marwah and his plans to wed next year. Facebook Faces Ban In Kashmir Due To Spreading Discontent

Government is contemplating ban on social networking website Facebook following provocative, obscene and sacrilegious material uploaded from a large section of the users, informed sources said.

They said the police authorities have recommended to the government to place blanket ban on the website as the objectionable material could bring back the street unrest in the Valley.

Sources said that police have based their recommendations on the inputs gathered from various sources including CID that some elements were bent upon destroying peace in Kashmir, and as part of their strategy were posting high objectionable material on the website.

Police have based their recommendations on the inputs gathered from various sources including CID that some elements were bent upon destroying peace in Kashmir, and as part of their strategy were posting high objectionable material on the website. They said that posting of blasphemous material on the website early this week, which provoked street protests on Friday, was a part of the conspiracy.
The Facebook has been flooded with highly obscene and objectionable material over the
past some time. Under fake names, a section of users post nude pictures and porn videos on their pages. Police is reported to have launched a manhunt to track down the users but could not arrest them as they did not operate from a given area or place. “They keep on changing their area of operations so are not traced”, said a middle-rung police officer.
Director General of Police (DGP), Kuldeep Khoda recently admitted that cybercrime was posing a serious challenge to policing. He said that three Cyber Police Stations were being set up at Srinagar, Jammu and Crime Headquarters to meet this challenge.

After three consecutive summers of unrest
(2008, 09, 10), Kashmir witnessed a peaceful summer this year. Police however believe that the peace is a fragile proposition which can be undone by a small incident. “We have not lowered the guard. We are keeping a strong vigil. There are elements who are determined to destroy peace”, said a police officer. Police authorities are linking together the recent conversion issue, and sacrilegious and porn material being posted on social networking websites mainly Facebook and view it as an attempt by the vested interests to disturb peace.
The law maintaining authorities view Facebook users as major threat to peace in Kashmir. They say that last year's unrest in the valley was fuelled by the use of social media by young Kashmiris to launch an 'online Intifada'. The status updates on Facebook and the videos posted on YouTube were of the violence and crackdown that happened during the stone throwing incidents in the summer of 2010. While it made the over 10 million Indian online community aware that the disgruntled in Kashmir were not merely the aged Huriyat gentlemen on TV screens but also the young and all. It led to increased international media interest in the Kashmir agitation. A police crackdown after two months saw the banning text messages, SMS service and stopping of internet services for some months during the troubled days. Police also arrested dozens of Facebook and booked them under infamous Public Safety Act (PSA).
“Azadi” is still the most cherished subject with a large number of young Kashmiri users. They keep on debating and discussing the ways and means for “azadi” unendingly. This gave rise to an anti-group as well who, on their part, have launched a severe counter campaign against Kashmir’s separatist leadership.
The latest page that addressed the Prophet of Islam Hazrat Mohammad (SAW) in contempt and put the picture of holy Kabaa in even more blasphemous way had been named as “This dog can have more fans than Syed Ali Geelani”. Hundreds of people across Kashmir protested against the page users on Friday.
Sources said that the government did not want to give any chance to separatists to capitalize on the sentimental outburst of the people, and has advised police to take all measures and checks to keep things under control. They said that police deemed Facebook as major that could generate discontent, and have thus proposed to ban it, at least, in the valley.

      TITANIC 3D TRAILER
The re-release of James Cameron's Oscar-winning film Titanic, starring Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio has debuted on the film's official Facebook page.

In 1997 Titanic was the most successful film of all time, earning $1.8 billion worldwide, until director Cameron'srecent blockbuster Avatar hit screens with its earnings of $2.7 billion. The film hopes to please fans as well as reach a new younger audience.
The atmospheric footage, with Celine Dion's hit My Heart Will Go On in the background, shows excerpts of the arrivals aboard the ship, meetings between Jack and Rose, including her posing for the young artist, and the historic sinking of the ocean liner on its maiden voyage.

The trailer for the romantic classic gets updated with title cards, such as "from the visionary director of Avatar." Since Cameron is an advocate for 3D and a pioneer of the technology, the $18 million conversion is expected to be worthwhile.

Next year is the 100th anniversary year of the ship setting sail. The film also marks the 100th anniversary of the film studio, Paramount Pictures.

Baby B has Mother Aishwarya's eyes

What does the baby girl of one of the prettiest women in the world, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, look like? Amitabh Bachchan has described Baby B in his blog, dated Novemeber 16 at 11.27 pm.

Baby B has light coloured eyes just like her mother. "The soft innocence of nature rests in my arms, oblivious of what else happens around her. Occasionally she opens her large and what looks now to be eyes of the lighter hue, which those that have dealt with similar, know shall change with time," Big B wrote.

He added: "Often the gentlest of smiles quiver across her pouted upper lip, the shut eyes bringing expression through the brows and the settling down to that dream she must dream. Her head covered in the littlest of head gear she will ever adorn, snuggles into her mini quilt of varied colors dominated by the pink softness of its material."

Bachchan got emotional recalling a similar experience when he had placed newborn Abhishek in his father's arm: "As I look down upon her I bring myself back to the visual when I had placed her Father in just condition into my Father's hands, to be heralded into our home."

The superstar could't contain his feelings: "After a pregnant pause it is time for her to be airlifted from within my arms. I give this angelic face a prolonged look … Dad ! I hold the 9th Bachchan in my hands .. this family that you started .. !!"

He also praised his daughter-in-law Ash for showing "exceptional strength and courage." The name is yet undecided.

Big B signed off quoting one of the text messages he had received: "May you live to dance at the wedding of this angel in your life. May we all ... indeed !!"

We wish the little angel all the happiness and success for life!

Cellphone Batteries To Recharge In 15 Minutes

Washington: Scientists are closer to developing a cellphone battery that will take just 15 minutes to recharge and last more than a week.

A team of Northwestern University engineers created an electrode for lithium-ion batteries, used in cellphones and iPods, that allows holding a charge up to ten times greater than current technology.

Batteries with the new electrode also can charge 10 times faster than current batteries, the journal Advanced Energy Materials reported. A journal named Advanced Energy Materials reported that cell phone batteries with the fresh electrode can charge more than 10 times faster than the batteries we use at present.

'We have found a way to extend a new lithium-ion battery's charge life by ten times,' said Harold H. Kung, researcher, a university statement said.

In a university statement, Harold H. Kung, a researcher, said,

“We have found a way to extend a new lithium-ion battery’s charge life by ten times.”

“Even after 150 charges, which would be one year or more of operation, the battery is still five times more effective than lithium-ion batteries on the market today,” added Kung.

Researchers combined two chemical engineering approaches to address two major battery limitations - energy capacity and charge rate.

Besides better batteries for cellphones and iPods, the technology could pave the way for more efficient, smaller batteries for electric cars.

However, users have to wait more than two years to utilize the technology, said the researchers.

Anticipating a rush, both Aircel and Airtel announced that they will be offering a pre-order on their website from November 18 onwards.

Apple had launched its newest member of iPhone smartphone family in October. The 4S, which hit the US market on October 14, comes with the same design, shape and size as the iPhone 4, but boasts of certain additional features that made it an instant hit among users who have been able to lay their hands on it.

The iPhone 4S comes with the A5 chipset, which also powers the iconic iPad 2. Besides, the dual-core Cortex-A9 CPU and PowerVR SGX543MP2 GPU is a potent combination.

The phone has both GSM and CDMA connectivity. Also, one of the major points of attraction of this latest upgrade from Apple is the camera quality. The iphone 4S comes with an impressive 8 megapixel camera. The video recording facility in the phone has also been upgraded from 720p to 1080p.

However, the single biggest ‘iPopping’ feature of the 4S is Siri, the feature that responds to voice commands and allows you to ‘send messages, schedule meetings, place phone calls and much more’. Apple’s ‘humble personal assistant’, Siri receives and understands commands made in simple, everyday language, which means users do not have to learn commands designed specifically for the phone to understand you.
